Rouge Volupte'...worth the hype?

I have just received my rouge volupte in the mail thanks to buyapowa and I couldn't wait to have it in my hands. Many people talk about the rouge volupte commenting on the luxury packaging that feels expensive in your hands ( it is expensive!!!so it better look like it!!) ...well I absolutely agree.

I haven't wore it yet but just by swatching it it looks creamy and pigmented as everyone described it.

I am sorry I couldn't wait to wear it before writing this post but I couldn't wait to celebrate its beauty.

So I will leave u with some pictures of the shade that I got: rose lingerie. When I saw it on buyapowa I immediately remembered Blair talking about it on YouTube so I couldn't pass on the offer. I paid £18 pounds including shipping ...eek! I will have to restrain myself for a while after this big splurge...

I will try to write about some of my favourites next .

a weekend glamping with sheep

The last weekend my boyfriend and I went "glamping" in a pod near Winchester. I first heard of these pods reading the Zoella's blog and I thought it was what I waiting for! My birthday was a couple of weeks ago and I tried really hard to book 2 nights away to celebrate but I everything was booked.

the pod where we stayed
I love sheep..they are so sweet...

You may wonder what "glamping" is ...well... apparently it stands for glamorous camping. The things that make it glamorous is that you can have a bed inside the wooden pod and electricity and heating. I have to say that I loved being able to be surrounded by nature with the full comfort of a bed and so on. My biggest problem with camping is that, even though I come from the italian countryside, I am absolutely terrified of spiders and worms and snakes :) Thank god my boyfriend doesn't mind killing them :) I spent 10 mins checking the corners of the pod to spot any spiders...i know...silly me...but i can't help it..:)

I would strongly recommend the camping site where I have been. (click here for their website) The site was small, intimate and extremely clean. We paid 55 pounds for the pod with the bed and bedding included. There were only 3 pods on the campsite and 4/5 caravans spots. The owners were lovely and extremely helpful to give us suggestions where to eat and what to do in the area without being intrusive.
We will definitely go back, may be even with the cold weather...it should be lovely to stay cosy and warm in that pod.

Here are some pics of the weekend away. Let me know if any of you have been in other similar pods around the Uk. We really want to go to Cornwall but it is a long journey by car from where I live (west london) so hopefully we will find the time soon.

Thanks for reading this post

Is it a ME style?

Is it a ME style?

Is it a ME style? by GiuliandBeauty featuring a leopard print tote bag
I have heard before of this website but I didn't have time to check it out. I was reading NicolaVC86 lovely blog post  and I clicked on Polyvore! OMG! I love it sooo much!

I am an interior designer/training architect so I am used to create moodboards to express a look or theame. That's why when I have found this website I have enjoyed playing with accessories and clothes.

As a first time outfit , I have tried to select the items that I would wear in my IDEAL world (when the sun is out, you have enough money to spend in a Jimmy Choo bag and it doesn't matter if your shoes will hurt like hell while you are walking all over London)..I LOVE IT!

I will try to keep my Blog more updated from now on since I am on holiday from university :) Happy Days!

other nail polishes..Eyeko Rain, Pastel, Petite, Vintage, Military and Vampira Nail Polishes and Barry M. Dusky Mauve and Mushroom

I was out with one of my friends in the Topshop flagship store in Oxford Circus and I, of course, stopped at the Barry M. counter. While I was quickly browsing with my eyes the nail polishes this vision appeared to me: DUSKY MAUVE!
At first I thought it was the mushroom one but then I was immediately taken by the purple shimmer in it. Beautiful.
I couldn't not buy it. Especially with the student discount of 10% :)

Here below is a comparison between the two nail polishes by Barry M. and a review of the Rain Polish by Eyeko that got so many compliments last week in my office. I thought of spreading the word and make everyone know of the beautiful opaque colour pay off that you get with some of the Eyeko Nail Polishes.
As I have already mentioned in my YouTube video, the only regret among the nail polishes is the Vampira:  it is a bit too subtle to be a glitter nail polish. I prefer either a really sparkling and shimmery nail polish or a really opaque one. (without even considering that you have to spend a good 10 mins to remouve a glittery nail polish!:( Anyway..I hope you enjoy my pics and comments...xxx
